Junior School Charity

Amelie Peacock and Ava Mead (Year 5)

In the week before half term, girls from the Junior School ran activities to raise funds for Harry Banks.

Harry is a 10-year-old boy who has Neuroblastoma, which is a rare and aggressive cancer that mostly affects children, generally under the age of 5 years old. He is our friend and went to our old school. He needs vital fund to pay for special treatment.

We got lots of big games out in our school tennis court and girls had to pay a donation to play them.  We also sold wristbands for £2. This went on at playtimes for the last week of half term. We had a great team of helpers from Year 5.

In total, we raised £384.47 and the school raised over £1000.
