Junior School Music

Mrs McKinnell (Music Teacher)

On Wednesday evening, a selection of Junior School girls gave a Teatime Concert in Trinity House.

The girls performed to a fantastic audience, treating everyone to a selection of pieces including a vocal duo, piano solos, violin solos, some woodwind performances and some beautiful singing. It was also lovely to see an extremely enthusiastic trio made up of Year 6 girls that had found and learnt a piece totally independently, performing vocally and with guitar and piano accompaniment.

The evening was musical journey showcasing their hard work, from beginners to some more experienced performers. It was fantastic to see girls playing from all different year groups and performing in a wide range of styles of music.

The atmosphere was really supportive, the girls performed with real pride and confidence. Thanks to Adrian Boynton and Andrea Tweedale for accompanying, and well done to all the girls involved.
