Many congratulations to high-kicking pupil, Ella Riley (Year 6) who claimed a gold medal in sparring and a bronze for special techniques at the UKTI championships in Silsoe last weekend (Sunday 5^th May).   

Ella began training in taekwondo at four years old and now has an impressive 14 medals and trophy for star pupil of the year. Her latest gold medal was for sparring with a higher grade than herself, which is a fantastic achievement! 

Ella said: ““Taekwondo means a lot me. I would love to progress further and compete in more championships and maybe one day in the Olympics.”

BGS and the wider community wish Ella all the best in her upcoming competitions including the Open ITF Taekwondo World Championships, which take place in November 2019.
