Many congratulations to  Megan Barnicoat (Year 4) who recently won the Letchworth Freedom Tristar event (Sunday 1^st September), finishing top of the girls and boys her age group.

The multi-sport race combined a pool swim at Letchworth Outdoor Swimming pool, then a run in the local nature reserve of Norton Common. Megan’s age group competed in a 50m swim and 600m run. This success follows on from her recent win at Bedford Aquathlon where she placed first out the boys and girls as well. 

Megan currently trains with the Modernian Swimming Club Junior Squad in Bedford, who she will start to race for in 2020, when she becomes old enough to compete for them.
