Mrs Martin (Head of Year 3)

There is always a big ‘step up’ when moving from KS1 into KS2 and this is always more prevalent when you change schools, especially during a pandemic!

Our new Year 3 girls have shown remarkable resilience and independence as they have started to take these changes in their stride. We have been hugely impressed in their ability to adapt to their new environment and practices and how quickly we have been able to implement routines that normally take longer to introduce. This is testament to the skills they have developed during their home learning.

The wellbeing of the girls is always our priority and they have shown a good understanding already, of how just changing your words can help to change your mindset.

We are very excited about our year ahead.
