Many congratulations to talented footballer, Darcey Griffiths (Year 6), who has once again been selected to represent Arsenal Ladies Elite this coming season. She has also been invited for trials at the Arsenal academy in October.

Last weekend, Darcey was presented with the most improved player trophy for the 2019/20 season at Bedford Ladies, following 13 goals and numerous assists. 

Darcey reflected on her football career: “I’m so proud and happy my hard work last season at Bedford has been recognised by this award.

“I train 3 times a week and play games on Saturdays often eating my dinner and doing homework in the car due to travelling to Arsenal and Bedford. I am excited about another year at Arsenal and my end goal is now to be successful in trials and signed to the Arsenal Pro-Academy, then play all my football in North London.”
