The Association
The Junior School gardens were buzzing on Sunday afternoon as The Association hosted their first face-to-face event since the start of the pandemic, with the ever-popular Games on The Lawn.
Junior School girls and their families enjoyed a wonderful sunny afternoon of traditional garden games such as giant chess and jenga, tried their luck at the coconut shy and even learnt how to juggle and walk the tight-rope thanks to the fantastic circus skills workshop.
Cream teas and Pimms were welcome refreshments for the adults whilst the girls worked up an appetite on the inflatable assault course and bouncy castle before enjoying ice-creams, cookies and even a few sweets!
Our Year 6 girls ran stalls where the girls could enjoy a bit of pampering with nail painting and glitter tattoos, all of which they have been allowed to keep on as an exceptional fun filled addition to the school uniform this week!
After such a long time apart, it was a wonderful opportunity for all our Junior School families to reconnect with old friends, make new ones and welcome all our new starters to the BGS community.
