Exciting news for Year 5 as Book Club kicks off this Summer Term with a burst of creativity and laughter!
Our first session delved into the hilarious world of There's a Lion in My Cornflakes by Michelle Robinson. As we followed the misadventures of two brothers aiming for a free lion but ending up with an assortment of unexpected animals, peals of laughter filled the air. Amidst discussions on the book's themes, our young readers showcased their inventiveness by crafting their own 3D cereal boxes. With thoughtful consideration for the prizes they wished to promote, they demonstrated a flair for originality and innovative thinking, a testament to their fluent thinking and open-minded approach to problem-solving.
The launch of Book Club for Year 5 marks the beginning of a journey filled with literary delights and imaginative explorations. Through engaging with stories that ignite their creativity and foster open-mindedness, our students are more than ready for more adventures and discoveries that are planned in the weeks ahead!
