A Lower Sixth student’s impressive painting skills have helped transform the look of the Junior School's Hayloft Library.

Inspired by a number of well-known book characters, Nilufa Yasmin has spent the past year finishing the mural on the Hayloft Library walls.
Nilufa volunteered to take on the project in summer 2014 as part of her Duke of Edinburgh's (DofE) Bronze Award.

Finishing the required hours for the volunteering section early on during her DofE programme, Nilufa extended the mural by adding extra book characters during lunch times and after school.

Mrs Brugnoli, Learning Resources Assistant, said: “Nilufa has showed plenty of commitment in transforming Hayloft Library. The Year 3 girls love all the book characters Nilufa has painted.”
